Ingredients:

  • Buffalo Mayo

    • 1 tbsp Duke’s mayonnaise

    • 1 tsp Frank’s Buffalo sauce

  • Green Tomato and Pepper Jam
    (Store-bought pepper jam works great!)

  • Fried Slaw

    • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage

    • 1/4 cup diced red onion

    • 1 tbsp butter

    • Ranch dressing (for tossing)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Buffalo Mayo:
    In a small bowl, mix together Duke’s mayonnaise and Frank’s Buffalo sauce. Set aside.

  2. Cook the Fried Slaw:

    • Heat a pan over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp of butter.

    • Add chopped cabbage and diced red onion. Sauté until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.

    • Remove from heat and toss with a small amount of ranch dressing to coat lightly.

  3. Toast the Bun:

    • Gently toast the hoagie roll with butter or oil until golden brown.

  4. Cook the Hot Dog:

    • Cook the Back Creek Wagyu hotdog to your preferred method (grill, pan-fry, or boil).

  5. Assemble the Dawg:

    • Spread Buffalo mayo on the toasted bun.

    • Add 1 tbsp of green tomato and pepper jam.

    • Place the hot dog in the bun.

    • Top with a generous helping of chili.

    • Pile on the fried slaw.
